“Our America with Lisa Ling: Innocent Behind Bars” Features DDC Footage
The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) recently broadcast the episode, “Innocent Behind Bars” on Our America With Lisa Ling:
”In America, we’re innocent until proven guilty. But when the system fails, how can an innocent person restart their life? Lisa explores the lives of men who were wrongly convicted, and one man on death row whose daughter is fighting for the truth.
The segment includes footage shot on location at DDC’s world headquarters. DDC’s Forensic Division has worked with several cases in which previously convicted individuals were proven to be innocent through DNA testing.
