With a Native American DNA Test from DDC, both tested parties can easily provide their DNA sample in-person at one of our 5000+ collection locations worldwide. Multiple appointments can be set up in different locations if necessary.

At the collection center, the identities of all tested parties will be verified and this proof of verification will be included in the results, guaranteeing accuracy.

Will a Tribal Membership DNA Test Tell Me if I Am Native American?

DDC’s Native American DNA Test is not an ancestry test that would help to determine if you have Indigenous American DNA. Rather, it is a relationship test (paternity, maternity, siblingship, etc.). The test can help establish a biological relationship between you and an existing tribe member if you are applying for tribal membership.

Will a Tribal Membership DNA Test Help Me Find Out Which Tribe I’m From?

DDC’s Native American DNA Test will not help you find out which tribe you’re from. In fact, there is no test offered by any lab that can tell you specifically which tribe you may be from. Rather, our Native American DNA Test is designed to help establish a biological relationship between you and an existing tribe member.

Will a Native American DNA Test Determine My Blood Quantum (BQ)?

No, DDC’s Native American DNA Test will not determine your Blood Quantum. Blood Quantum (BQ) is the percentage of documented full-blood Native American ancestors in one’s lineage. There is currently no test on the market to determine your BQ.
