DNA Diagnostics Center Selected by Alpaca Registry, Inc. for Multi-Year Partnership

DNA Diagnostics Center (DDC), the world’s leading private DNA testing laboratory, headquartered in Fairfield, Ohio, today announced that Alpaca Registry, Inc. (ARI) has signed an exclusive partnership with DDC for pedigree and parentage DNA profiling services for registered alpacas.

ARI is the largest alpaca pedigree registry in the world, headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska. The only organization of its kind in the United States, ARI also registers alpacas in Canada and countries throughout the world. ARI has used DNA testing as part of its registry services since 1998.

Following a recent review of seven DNA testing laboratories, the ARI Board of Directors and staff selected DDC for a multi-year relationship as its exclusive provider of DNA testing services. Reviews included several site visits to ensure compliance with key ARI standards.
